Bonaire’s young dive talents go pro at Buddy Dive Resort!
Last week a selection of enthusiastic Bonairian talents from MBO Bonaire completed the first step of becoming a dive professional at Buddy Dive Resort. They have all successfully completed their open water and advanced open water courses. A great achievement! After this, they continue with their rescue course and divemaster in order to be able to work as a diving professional later on.
They participate in an ambitious program of MBO Bonaire in collaboration with Buddy Dive Resort that involves the local youth in one of Bonaire’s main attractions, the diving industry.
By giving these enthusiastic youngsters a chance for a job in the diving industry, they can become ambassadors for the beautiful underwater life of Bonaire and share their knowledge about and love for the island with the visitors. This ensures a good future for Bonaire’s next generation, the marine park and the Bonairian locals themselves can offer a fantastic experience to the tourists who come to dive.
