Maintenance Employee

Buddy Dive Resort is one of the largest dive resorts in Bonaire, Caribbean Netherlands. The resort features 73 apartments with a total of 224 beds, its own dive school located across four sites on the island, and seven boats. It also offers two different types of restaurants, two swimming pools, an in-house laundromat, and a car rental service with over 100 vehicles.
To strengthen our Maintenance Team, we are looking for a motivated :

Maintenance Employee

As an All-round Maintenance Employee, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free stay for our guests by maintaining and repairing essential facilities across the resort. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to air conditioning, electrical systems, and room maintenance. Your hands-on expertise and
problem-solving skills will contribute to our vision of.

You will be responsible for:

  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
  • Diagnose and repair issues related to air conditioning, electrical systems, and general
    room maintenance.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns.
  • Carry out quality repairs and ensure long-term solutions for recurring issues.
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to support large-scale repairs and
    improvements.
  • Be available for flexible shifts, including weekends, to ensure continuous maintenance
    coverage.
  • Keep Maintenance Manager up to date of any issues

Job credentials:

  • Proven experience in hotel maintenance field or equivalent
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and air-conditioning maintenance
  • Good communication and able to be pleasant to our guests

  • Flexibility in working hours and available to work on the weekends
