Senior HR Officer (Full-time) – Bonaire, Caribbean Netherlands

Your role
As Senior HR Officer, you will play a central role within our HR team on Bonaire. You are responsible for the entire HR process and support employees and managers with your knowledge and experience. You ensure a pleasant and professional work environment where everyone can thrive.
Your responsibilities
- Managing the full recruitment process: from vacancy to contract signing
- Coordinating onboarding, internal transfers, and offboarding
- Ensuring accurate administration of personnel files
- Advising and guiding employees and managers on HR-related questions
- Monitoring compliance with labor legislation and internal HR policies
- Preparing salary adjustments and coordinating with the finance department
- Handling confidential and sensitive discussions, such as conflict resolution and exit interviews
What you bring:
- HBO (Bachelor’s) level of education, preferably in HRM or a related field
- At least 1–2 years of experience in an HR role
- Knowledge of Dutch labor law; experience with BES legislation is a plus
- Fluent in Dutch and English; Spanish or Papiamentu is an advantage
- Proactive, independent, and flexible
